What is tidal wave 5e?

Tidal Wave is a 3rd level conjuration spell in the 5th edition of Dungeons & Dragons. The spell creates a massive wave of water that moves in a straight line and deals damage to all creatures in its path. The wave is 30 feet long, 10 feet wide and rises up to 10 feet high.

On a failed Dexterity saving throw, creatures take 4d8 bludgeoning damage and are knocked prone. On a successful save, they take half damage and are not knocked prone. The wave also extinguishes any unsecured flames within its area of effect.

Tidal Wave is commonly used by druids and sorcerers, and can be very effective in outdoor combat situations or against large groups of enemies. However, it can also affect allies, so it should be used with caution in tight spaces or against small groups.
